Lethargos is the second of the two bosses players have publicly named in Dimenshot Early Access (Steam Community thread by Mant, Oct 16, 2026, on Standard difficulty). The fight feels harder than the actual final boss of its layer, with about 10 of the player's 15 overall deaths occurring on Lethargos. Parry timing is the headline problem — even correct-feeling parries do not always register — and healing-per-melee-hit feels too low on Standard, with the same hits feeling acceptable on higher difficulty.

How the fight feels on Standard
The player reports dying around 15 times across the whole game, with roughly 10 of those deaths on Lethargos alone, and notes that the encounter feels harder than the actual final boss of that layer. Three takeaways:
- Lethargos is the player's single largest death sink.
- It feels harder than the final boss of the layer it sits in.
- The frustration centers on parry timing, not raw survival.
Healing feels thin until you raise the difficulty
The same Standard run reports that healing-per-parry and healing-per-melee-hit both feel too low on Standard, but the same healing feels acceptable on higher difficulty. Healing output appears to scale upward with difficulty rather than be fixed per hit.
What this implies for players:
- Standard difficulty is tuned so that melee hits and parries give the smallest return.
- Hard mode (and presumably Easy above Standard) flips that ratio.
- If parries are dropping, switching the difficulty tier is a way to keep your bar topped while you learn the fight.
Where this sits in the boss lineup
Lethargos is one of two bosses players have publicly named in the Steam Community Discussions at Early Access launch. The other named boss is GRAND. Both posts sit at zero replies, so neither fight has a community-vetted strategy yet. See the Dimenshot boss guide for the full launch lineup and the third boss, still unnamed in public discussion. If you want to try a different difficulty band while learning, see the Dimenshot difficulty settings page.
