Dimenshot grades each level with letter ranks such as S and A, displayed on the level select screen. Steam Leaderboards are split per difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard). Iceberg acknowledged a display bug where an A rank shows as S on the level select. No public formula defines the S/A/B cutoffs, the metrics that feed the score, or the Endless Mode scoring formula.

How the ranks work
Ranks are awarded per-level completion. Each level gets a letter rank that is tied to the score of your run on the chosen difficulty.
What is publicly confirmed:
- Each level carries a letter rank.
- S is the top rank; A is the next rank below it.
- The rank is displayed next to the level on the level select screen.
- Ranks are split by difficulty tier because the Steam Leaderboards are split per tier.
What is not yet public:
- The numeric score thresholds that produce an S, an A, a B, and the lower letters.
- The exact metrics that feed the score (kills, time, damage taken, combos, secrets).
- The exact point cutoffs that separate S from A.
- Per-difficulty Endless Mode scoring formula.
The developer has not published a rank formula as of Early Access launch on October 16, 2026.
Endless Mode boards
Steam Leaderboards are split by difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard), so two players on different tiers compete on separate boards. Endless Mode is a score-attack mode where the goal is to chain combos and push for the highest score. The same v0.19149 hotfix lists a second related bug: "Main scores sometimes doesn't shown on level buttons." See the Dimenshot Endless Mode page for the full score-attack mode write-up.
